COMMITTEES & THEIR BASIC FUNCTIONS:

Ladies Tea - April 25, 2025 (Union Brick, Roseville)
The Committee meets monthly to discuss needs regarding the event. This is a WORKING committee! The committee often makes the centerpieces, favors, etc. for the event, and it is all hands on deck the day of the event. Once the event is over, the committee will meet for a wrap meeting and then begin planning the event for the next year.

Mentorship - BRAND NEW IN 2025!
Consider joining the mentorship committee! The newly approved committee will meet quarterly online in groups based on certification. We are looking for both certified and prospective members. The committee will have a wrap party at the end of the year!

Communications - The Voice
The committee is responsible for soliciting articles for the quarterly Voice magazine (quarterly). This committee is a virtual committee that meets over zoom infrequently.

Community Service
This committee meets monthly to plan multiple events per year! Notably the Ronald McDonald House BBQ, Shamrockin 5k, and Placer Food Bank days. This is a working committee.

Gala - December 11, 2025 (Hyatt Regency Sacramento)
The Committee meets monthly to discuss needs regarding the event. This is a WORKING committee! Once the event is over, the committee will meet for a wrap meeting and then begin planning the event for the next year.

Education - 8 in 2025 (Hilton Sacramento Arden West)
This committee plans and executes all the educational programs throughout the year. Their primary in person meeting to select speakers / topics is in July/August, and they meet monthly over zoom after that. Committee members will be assigned one (1) main program for which they are responsible managing the speakers before and during the event. They are also responsible for the Board Leader Certificate Course education and speaker selection.

Legislative Support - August 21, 2025 (Drake's the Barn)
This committee meets virtually over zoom, bi-monthly. This committee will be working with the Bags & Brews Committee in 2025 on the Cornhole for CLAC event. They are heavily involved with the state CLAC, who reviews and proposes positions on Legislation involving the HOA industry.

Golf - Golf Classic, October 13, 2025 (The Ridge, Auburn)
The Golf Committee has two events it is involved with: their main event on October 13th and they partner with Membership for the Happy Hour Golf Event on May 29th (Sun City Roseville). This is a WORKING committee! They meet virtually, but it is all hands on deck for the pre-event sponsor/raffle solicitation and on site for the events. They meet virtually except for the swag bag stuffing.

Membership - Happy Hour Golf, May 29, 2025 (Sun City Roseville)
This committee meets monthly, virtually. They are responsible for contacting new members and expired members for the previous month, and helping with Registration during the Educational Luncheons. This is a great committee for anyone who is looking to get to know the membership and is social!
